Income Tax Volunteer
The Income Tax Program operates under the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program under the Canada Revenue Agency.
The Clinic runs March and April, with training taking place at the end of February.
Volunteers prepare returns, free of charge, for seniors who qualify, by in person appointment or drop off. All returns are filed electronically through the UFILE program, provided by CRA.
All volunteers are required to registered with the CVITP Program and obtain an EFILE number, some may require a police record check, dependent on level of clearance needed.
