Cahoots Young Carers Camp – Volunteer Opportunity

Join us for a fun and engaging week at the Cahoots Young Carers Camp. This camp is designed for young people who are siblings of children or teens living with disabilities. It provides a chance for them to relax, connect with peers in a similar situation, and enjoy a week full of social activities and fun experiences.

The camp runs from 8:00am Tuesday 7 April to 4:00pm Friday 10 April in Perth. Volunteers are fully supported with meals, accommodation, transport, and access to all activities, so you can focus on creating a great experience for the participants.

What the camp looks like:
Throughout the week, participants will enjoy a variety of engaging and social activities. These may include games, arts and crafts, group challenges, outdoor adventures, and themed events. The aim is to provide a relaxed and fun environment where young carers can make friends, try new activities, and have a memorable week.

Your role as a Camp Leader:
As a volunteer, you will help facilitate activities and encourage participation, connection, and friendship among participants. There is no duty of care—your role is to be a friendly, supportive presence, joining in the fun, sharing laughs, and helping create a positive and inclusive camp experience.
