To join our team, you must be:
♦ 18 years of age or older
♦ Able to commit to one scheduled shift per week (3-4 hours in length), for a minimum of 9 months and 100 hours of service
Volunteers with Fraser Health are required to adhere to all mandates set by the Provincial Health Officer for healthcare sites. Compliance with these guidelines is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and volunteers.
Please note that most shifts are during the day, Monday through Friday. Weekend opportunities are very limited.

Wayfinders meet and greet visitors and patients. They provide information, directions and escort visitors and patients to various areas throughout the hospital.
Located in Royal Columbian Hospital, gift shop volunteers provide customer service to the public, purchase and re-stock merchandise, and process sales. Previous cash-handling or retail experience is an asset.
Located in the centre of Royal Columbian Hospital, the Lotto Booth sells tickets to raise funds to purchase new equipment for the hospital.
Training provided through BC Lottery Corporation.
Our ideal applicant is mature and has experience in customer service.
The New to You thrift shop is on 706 Sixth Avenue, near the New Westminster Public Library. Volunteers sort, price and display donated used goods while providing great customer service. All proceeds go to the purchase of new equipment for Royal Columbian hospital.
