Arts Program Volunteer
Role
To provide assistance to program instructors in the delivery of programs.
Time Commitment
- Must commit to the program session duration (1 day, or 4-12 weeks, varies by program)
- Various Hours
Responsibilities
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Assist with material preparation
- Assist with set up and tear down of required equipment
- Assist program instructor with activities as needed: handing out supplies, filling out supply inventory sheets, taking attendance, ensuring spaces are kept clean and answering questions.
- Maintain and clean art materials
- Unpack and shelve supplies in stock room
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be 15 years of age or older
- Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Screening for 18+)
- Must meet requirements of the Town of Milton volunteer program
- Prior experience with children, an asset
- Standard First Aid and CPR an asset
- HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development, an asset
- Leader in Training Program, an asset
- Punctual, consistent and reliable
- Friendly and enthusiastic
