Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra & Cincinnati Pops

Mission Statement

Thank you for volunteering with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops!

As a CSO volunteer, you are part of a long-standing tradition in Cincinnati. It was a group of dedicated, music-loving volunteers who founded the Cincinnati Symphony Volunteer Association (CSVA) and established our Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra back in 1895. Today, you and your fellow volunteers provide support for all aspects of the Orchestra, raising nearly $100,000 each year through fundraising efforts and donated volunteer hours. We couldn't do it without you!

If you are looking for ways to get more involved, try joining one of our
Affinity Groups (MAC, Spectrum, Encore, or Parties of Note). We appreciate the feedback and ideas from all volunteers and we hope you'll be a part of our community here at the Orchestra for many years to come.

Contact Volunteer Manager Sarah Maguire at or at (513) 744-3360 to learn more about opportunities available to you!

The purpose of the Cincinnati Symphony Volunteer Association (CSVA) is to strengthen public appreciation of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops' contribution to the cultural and economic life of Cincinnati and the Tri-State area. Subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees of the Orchestra, the CSVA, through volunteer services, shall engage in activities and projects that are designed to enhance the public relations and financial strength of the Orchestra.

CSVA exists to support the mission, vision, and values of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops:

To seek and share inspiration.

We will engage audiences and community better than any other orchestra in the world.
