Barrie Dragon Boat Festival - Saturday August 15, 2026 - Green Team Member
We need to ensure that our site is clean of all trash by the end of the day as well as doing our best to keep things tidy throughout the day. We want to ensure we leave Heritage Park just as clean as it was when we arrived!
Responsibilities include:
- Picking up trash, recycling items that can be recycled and general cleaning of the event site
The MUSTS:
- A minimum of 14 years of age
- Walking or standing for periods at a time
- Heavy lifting is required
- Volunteers must sign-in at the Volunteer Administration Tent a minimum of 15 minutes before the shift begins
A volunteer t-shirt and lunch are provided.
*Those who have not volunteered at the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival in the past must attend a mandatory IN-PERSON volunteer orientation on Wednesday July 15, 2026 from 6:30pm-7:30pm.*
Qualifications Required
- Barrie Dragon Boat Festival - BARRIE DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL - Current Year Waiver Must be Completed
- Barrie Dragon Boat Festival - BARRIE DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL - Volunteer Orientation Must be Complete
