Volunteer Parade Marshals Parade Marshals monitor the road along their sections of the route, react to any possible hazards or obstructions that could affect the flow of the parade or cause safety concerns by communicating this with City of Mississauga staff who are within their designated section. They ensure that spectators do not crowd the road and keep a safe distance from floats and moving vehicles. Youth volunteers will be partnered with an adult volunteer where possible.
