Our new arrivals typically come in on Wednesday afternoons, and almost always need a bath in addition to their medical intakes before they head out to foster care. Intake volunteers can expect to help with bathtime, feeding, preparing supplies for fosters, and kennel setup/cleaning. Experienced and willing intake volunteers can also learn how to assist with intake exams!

On Thursdays, we also have fosters drop off animals for Friday's spay/neuter day. Needed tasks involve cleaning/feeding, assistance with vaccinations and treatments, name tagging, and preparation for the next morning's transport.
