Hairdressers - We would love to have a scheduled "salon" day at Hospice once a week. That could be several hairdressers taking turns week about or the same hairdresser every week. We could also use an "on call" hairdresser for the An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the Regional Hospital. That wouldn't be a weekly thing but we do sometimes get requests.
Should you be interested in any of these volunteer opportunities, please complete the online application form and we will be in touch to schedule an interview. All volunteers must complete a criminal record check and provide two references as well as an Nova Scotia Health Volunteer Orientation Session. Palliative Care specific training is provided for all positions.
If you have any questions, please email lisa.mcneil-campbell@nshealth.ca.
Thank you so much for your interest in becoming a Hospice Palliative Care Volunteer!
