The Salvation Army is an international movement and an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by God's love. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
So, regardless of religion, political party, gender, and so on, The Salvation Army is here to do the most good, helping ALL people.
Year round we share God's love through providing affordable housing, emergency shelter, food pantries, feeding programs, rehabilitative services, utility assistance, rental assistance, Emergency disaster services, veterans services, mental health resources, youth camps, older adult ministries, youth services, community centers, social services, etc. right in this community.
However, we are only as strong as our partnerships and volunteer services. Sustainable impact and ongoing positive change are only possible when we are working together. We offer a range of programs and services to address human needs and social issues in various areas. This allows volunteers and partners to serve alongside us and address needs that align with their values and goals.
We are constantly seeking opportunities to partner with individuals and organizations to work with us as volunteers. Our volunteers and partners help change the lives of those we serve.
