"Hit A Ball For MS" Campaign

The Hit A Ball For MS campaign is essentially a pre-packaged hole-in-one competition at another organization's annual golf tournament.

There are no costs to organizations and we provide the volunteers and prizes.

MS volunteers are at a par 3 hole at the event. Golfers participate after making a minimum donation and all proceeds benefit the MS Society of Canada, Hamilton-Halton Chapter. In each pair/foursome that participates, a sleeve of MS-branded golf balls is given to the golfer whose ball is closest to the pin on the green. Every participating golfer is also entered into a raffle at the end of the season for additional prizes. Any golfer that achieves a hole-in-one is immediately entered into a Grand Prize draw for $2,000.

The MS Society attends multiple tournaments every golf season to execute the Hit A Ball For MS campaign.

I Challenge MS Event: Darren Haydar Charity Golf Tournament

I Challenge MS:

Many people organize their own third-party events that "challenge MS"!

I Challenge MS enables you to be creative, rally your friends and family to fundraise however you choose. Every event that donates proceeds to the MS Society of Canada is an act of greatness that will help change lives.

Darren Haydar Charity Golf Tournament:

Darren Haydar is a former NHL/AHL/KHL player that was born and raised in Milton, ON. He was diagnosed with MS that later led to his retirement from his professional hockey career - but he still plays and coaches!

This year marks the 3rd annual charity golf tournament of Darren's where all proceeds are donated to the MS Society of Canada, Hamilton-Halton Chapter.

The event information is:

Location: Glen Cairn Golf Club (9807 Regional Rd 25, Milton)
