About the Role

Are you passionate about sharing knowledge and fostering engaging discussions on a variety of topics? Join us as a Volunteer Lecturer and Discussion Facilitator at Jewish Care Victoria! As a Volunteer Lecturer and Discussion Facilitator, you will have the incredible opportunity to inspire and educate our elderly residents by leading lectures, talks, and discussions on a wide range of subjects. Whether it's history, current affairs, or other topics of interest, your expertise and conversational skills can bring joy and intellectual stimulation to our residents' lives.

You will be preparing and delivering informative and engaging lectures on various topics, facilitating discussions, allowing residents to share their thoughts and insights.

Working Hours

30 min once a week or fortnightly.

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for a variety of topics.
  • Proficiency in English and/or Russian languages.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • A passion for engaging with elderly residents and fostering meaningful discussions.
