The Salvation Army-Omaha Metro

A Way to Work is a work readiness program that provides employment, training and services to individuals experiencing homelessness. 

We need a reliable volunteer to pick up and transport hot meals from The Salvation Army North Corps at 2401 Manderson St. (24th & Pratt) and take to workers at the work site in the metro. Upon arrival at the North Corps, enter through the double doors on the west side of the building, meals will be collected at the kitchen. The lunches will be ready for pick up between 11:00am-11:30am.

The schedule for this opportunity will be year-round. Work site and days of the week are subject to change as weather conditions and city work options change. We aim to provide at least two weeks notice of any changes to schedule or site location. 

Volunteers will need to use their own transportation.

Space for 9 hot meals will be needed in the vehicle.
