This holiday season, you can make a difference by assisting families with Christmas registration to ensure they receive support this holiday season!
Volunteer Role: As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in helping caregivers enter their information into our online system. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide direct support to those in need.
Computer Skills Are Essential:
- Proficiency in using a computer is a must for this role, as you'll be entering important information directly into our online platform.
- Don't worry if you’re not familiar with our program; we’ll provide training before your shift, along with a "cheat sheet" for quick reference.
- Our staff will be on hand to assist you throughout your shift, but being comfortable with technology is key to ensuring a smooth registration process.
Bilingual Skills a Plus:
- If you are bilingual, your language skills will be a tremendous asset, helping us reach and support even more families in need.
Who Can Volunteer:
- Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to help are essential.
- Basic computer skills are crucial for effectively assisting families.
Location: You’ll be volunteering at The Salvation Army’s North Corps 2401 Manderson St. (24th & Pratt) Omaha, NE.
