Winter Night Watch - Meal Prep Helper
Overview:
Winter Night Watch provides warm meals and essential support to individuals experiencing homelessness during the coldest months of the year. Meal Prep Helpers play a vital role in ensuring nutritious, comforting food is ready for distribution each night.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and cooking meals in a team setting
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Portion and package meals for distribution
- Help with kitchen clean-up and dishwashing
- Maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for all volunteers
Qualifications:
- No prior kitchen experience required - training provided
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Dependable and punctual
- Must be 18 years old or older

Time: Weekdays 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm [December through March]
