TurkeyFest - Holiday Notes of Encouragement-Uplift Seniors
Turkeyfest is a holiday outreach to home-bound seniors in the Omaha Metro. Every year volunteers seek to deliver 1,000 warm holiday meals. But there is another way to support and uplift seniors in our community.
Holiday Notes of Encouragement!
Grab some friends and create notes of well wishes and blessings, holiday greeting cards, and children's artwork for these seniors to enjoy with their turkey. Your kind messages can help lessen isolation, build hope, and warm hearts.
This is a volunteer opportunity that can be done anywhere at any time. Any age is welcome to participate.
