Open Days are the largest and one of the most important student recruitment events, offering future students and their families a first-hand opportunity to explore university life, learn about our academic programs, and connect with the people who make our community special — like you.

Open Days in 2025 will be particularly special as it will be the first time hosting the event as Adelaide University. But we can’t do it without the support from our university community. We want to make it amazing — and we need your help to do it. 

For working on the day,you'll receive a lunch and coffee voucher, an official AU t-shirt (students only), and access to free parking (limited spots available). 

Open Days event details

The Adelaide City Open Day will be the main feature of the Open Days calendar, with all Study Area programs represented.

Open Days will also be held at the outer-metro campuses – Magill, Mawson Lakes and Roseworthy – to compliment the Adelaide City event. These Open Day events are an opportunity for future students to further explore facilities where they may study. 

Mount Gambier and Whyalla Open Day events will focus on the regional experience and programs offered in our regions.

  • Adelaide City -  Sunday 27 July 
  • Mount Gambier - Sunday 3 August 
  • Magill - Wednesday 13 August (evening)  
  • Mawson Lakes & Roseworthy - Sunday 17 August 
  • Whyalla - Sunday 31 August 

 

IMPORTANT

Registrations for Adelaide City Event on Sunday 27 July closed Tuesday 22 July 2025

  • For staff, please ensure that you have discussed volunteering at Open Day with your manager.
  • For staff and students participating in Study Area-led activites, such as Study Area booths, tours, panels and presentations, please reach out to your discpline area contacts to discuss dedicated Study Area opportunities.
