Wonders of Wildlife

Responsibilities are similar to those of the College Internship: Fish and Invertebrates, College Internship: Birds, Mammals, Reptiles, or College Internship: Ambassador Animal Team opportunity depending on which department you are placed in. Scheduling priority will go to applicants who are able to meet the 24 hour per week Internship requirement, with positions limited based on department needs (availability/skills/experience).

While animal care volunteers and interns work near our animals, applicants for these positions should not expect direct animal contact, handling, or training.

Availability/Time Commitment 

• Not all applicants will be accepted into animal care opportunities with additional screenings required.
• Animal Care volunteers are required to work at least one 4-hour shift per week. There are daily opportunities with shifts starting at 6 am and ending by 3 pm.
