Feline Enrichment Team
Enrichment is a critical component of animal care. We are often asked what exactly “enrichment” means. In animal care, we use the term for any item or activity that we add to an animal’s environment to enhance the quality or value of their experience in our care. That could include a fun puzzle game a dog has to use their brain to solve, an interesting bouncy toy for a kitten to play with, or calming music to help ease their stress. Sometimes though, it looks just like this - a dog having a fantastic time shredding a stuffed toy in his kennel!
