Magic at the Mansion Event Ambassador
Christmas at Harewood is always the most magical time but this year you could be part of something truly MAGICAL.
For the third time in eight years we will be working with Studio McGuire, multi -award winning, artists renowned for their innovative explorations in immersive art, storytelling and digital projections to bring over 50,000 visitors Magic at the Mansion.
Between 6 November 2026 and 3 January 2027 we will be looking for volunteer Event Ambassadors to base themselves inside Harewood House in beautifully decorated rooms alive with talking furniture, cheeky presents and choral surprises from the most unexpected places.
Your role will be to engage with our visitors, join in the magic and help manage the visitor flow to ensure everyone has a wonderful visit.
No previous experience of heritage or volunteering is required; just an enthusiasm to engage and ignite the imaginations of our visitors. Three shifts are available everyday, but we would especially welcome help at weekends and in the school Christmas holidays.
Harewood is well served by the 36 bus service and we will reimburse your travel expenses.
