• Be aged 18 years or older;

• Be able to commit to at least one 3-4 hour shift weekly or fortnightly for a minimum of 6 months (except for Consumer Advisor positions);

• Have strong oral and written English communication skills;

• Be able to provide evidence of their ability to work in Australia (i.e. Australian or NZ passport or an Australian birth or citizenship certificate, or an appropriate visa or work permit allowing the applicant to work in Australia); and

• Be able and/or willing to meet the vaccination requirements applicable to the volunteer role of interest.

• Provide a Working with Children Check (WCC.) If you don't already have this, you can apply for this online here ​​ or at an RMS or Service NSW Centre. Obtaining a WCC Check is free for volunteers.
