Committee/ Advisory Member - Youth Justice Comittee

Individuals who actively participate in a restorative justice process for youth who have committed minor offences. Volunteers will: -Represent and speak to the impact of criminal behaviour on the community -Support the youth, the person(s) harmed and their families through the process -Aid in the development of sanctions for youth to repair the harm -Full day Ministry orientation and bi-monthly training is provided

Qualifications Required

  • Accessibility Training Must be at least Completed
  • Children's Aid clearance Must be at least Completed
  • Confidentiality Agreement Must be at least Completed
  • Evaluation Must be at least Completed
  • ID Badge Must be at least Completed
  • Interview Must be at least Completed
  • Orientation Session Must be at least Completed
  • Police check Must be at least Completed
  • Reference checks Must be at least Completed
  • Volunteer Agreement Must be at least Completed
