Supporting Youth Service Participants - Youth Justice Comittee

Individuals to actively participate in a restorative justice process for youth who have committed minor offences. Volunteers will: ·Represent and speak to the impact of criminal behaviour on the community ·Support the youth, the person(s) harmed and their families through the process ·Aid in the development of sanctions for youth to repair the harm Full day Ministry orientation and bi-monthly training is provided

Qualifications Required

  • Accessibility Training Must be at least Completed
  • Children's Aid clearance Must be at least Completed
  • Confidentiality Agreement Must be at least Completed
  • Evaluation Must be at least Completed
  • ID Badge Must be at least Completed
  • Interview Must be at least Completed
  • Orientation Session Must be at least Completed
  • Police check Must be at least Completed
  • Reference checks Must be at least Completed
  • Volunteer Agreement Must be at least Completed
