Includes: Off-site supervised escort for outings with recreation staff in and around the community. Shopping, picnics, country drives, restaurant lunches, Visits to Whispering Pine Place.

Youth Volunteer Program Big River Health Center LTC The youth volunteer would have conversation with the resident, paint finger nails, help with the ipad, play a card game, read a story, assist with coffee, making puzzles, art projects . The volunteer would assist with pushing a wheelchair and taking resident for a walk down the hallways or out side.

Shifts available Sunday - Saturday 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Meals on Wheels Volunteers deliver nutritious meals to clients assessed as needing support with nutrition.
Personal accomplishment, develop and enhance communication skills, learn new job skills & obtain a work routine, being involved & giving back to community.
Volunteer picks up meals at given time from the outlet and delivers to client in their home.
Delivery times start at 11:00 am Monday to Friday

Youth Volunteer after school program - recreation program support, visiting 1:1, Provide meaningful interactions with the residents based on their interests. Help porter residents to programs or meals when needed. Help decorate facility when needed
