Fringe Festival Information Services Team


INFORMATION SERVICES TEAM

The Information Services Team are the folks with all the answers! They work at three information booths around the site and are responsible for answering patron questions and selling program guides. In addition to providing fringers with access to information and opportunities to support the Fringe in-person, they also respond to inquiries through an online chat program.

 

Duties:

  • Sell Festival program guides
  • Provide background information about the Festival and shows
  • Provide directions to venues and other areas of the site
  • Respond to online inquiries through a live chat program
  • Be familiar with key fringe information to help patrons use and understand the program guide
  • Act as a positive and enthusiastic representative of the Fringe Festival

 

Requirements:

  • Must be 14+ years of age
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, and prepared to offer radical hospitality to patrons
  • Comfortable talking to patrons about the Festival, including information about shows, the site, and ways to support the Fringe
  • Ability to sit outdoors, under a tent, for the duration of a 4-hour shift
  • Excellent understanding and ability to communicate in spoken English

 

Hours for this team generally run from 10:00am to 11:00pm.
