YMCA Saskatoon Volunteer Position
Note: This role has an age requirement of 18+ years.
Summary
The Saskatoon and Martensville & Warman Early Years Family Resource Centre (SEYFRC) offers programming, services and resources for all families with young children, prenatal to age five. The SEYFRC aims to provide families with positive early learning experiences as well as opportunities to connect, grow and learn together in an inviting, safe and supportive setting.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join our team at the Family Resource Centre. Volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission by assisting with various programs and activities aimed at supporting families in our community.
Time Commitment
This position requires a 6-month commitment. Volunteers are expected to commit to one (1) volunteer shift per week. Shifts are approximately 3 to 4 hours in length and typically scheduled on weekdays.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing and facilitating programs and workshops for families.
- Provide support and assistance to families accessing our services.
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment at the centre.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications
- Clear Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (volunteer letter will be provided after interview)
- Three references (two professional)
