The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is January 26, 2023. 

The purpose of the HUD Point-in-Time (PIT) count is to obtain a census of our unhoused neighbors in our community. The data collected during the PIT count helps our community understand the extent of homelessness, changing trends, and the measure of success in making homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring.

Housing Forward, as the HUD designated lead agency for Dallas and Collin Counties, leads the PIT count in collaboration with the All Neighbors Coalition. The All Neighbors Coalition is made up of more than 100 partner organizations that directly provide critical resources and support to individuals, Veterans, youth, and families experiencing homelessness.

Once registered, please provide confirmation via screenshot or email to Ciera at coates@dallashopecharities.org for hope dealer hours credited to your DHC profile.
**Please make sure you also sign up on our portal to get volunteer hours accounted for in your volunteer portal.

Time listed is an estimate. Additional details will be provided directly from Housing Forward once you have registered.

Log Hours:
DHC Staff will not be on site to log hours. Please check in and check out via our Timeclock feature HERE.
You can use your username OR your personal QR code. Please note that when scanning the QR code, you must first open the time clock via Safari to scan the QR code for check-in and out.

Dresscode: Hope Dealer tee - if you have not received one, please coordinate with Ciera at coates@dallashopecharities.org to pick one up at our office south of Love Field Airport between M - F 9am-5pm
