Community Partner Support - State of the Movement Conference Support (A Way Home America)
As we gear up for the State of the Movement conference, Transilience: Bridging Beyond Silos, A Way Home America is reaching out for volunteer support. AWHA is looking for dedicated volunteers to help with various tasks on October 22nd, 23rd, and 24th and would greatly appreciate your time and assistance to ensure the event runs smoothly. *All volunteers on-site during breakfast and lunch times will have access to free catered lunch. They will also receive a volunteer t-shirt. Anyone who wants to volunteer for two or all three days are encouraged! Just add your name to each day in the spreadsheet.
Volunteer Roles, Tasks, Dates, and Times
- Set-Up Crew:
- Assist in setting up tables and chairs in the main room
- Set up chairs in the 4 breakout rooms
- Shifts: October 22nd (9:00am – 1:00pm)
- 2 people
- Registration & Welcoming Team:
- Shifts: October 23rd & 24th (7:30am - 10:30am)
- 2 people per day
- Workshop Monitors:
- Assist with keeping workshops running smoothly, ensuring facilitators and attendees are supported
- Shifts: October 23rd and 24th (8:30am - 4:00pm)
- 4 people per day
- Runner (must have reliable transportation and current drivers license)
- Help with any last minute needs for performers, staff, speakers, or facilitators
- Wed, October 23rd: 9am - 5pm
- Volunteer Floats:
- Help with general cleaning up, checking in on vendors, staff, and an extra set of eyes
- Shifts: October 23rd and 24th: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- 2 people per day
- Breakdown Crew:
- help with tear down
- Shifts: October 24th, 4:30 - 7:30pm
- 2 people
