• Volunteer Shifts:

  • Shift 1: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
    Includes setup support

  • Shift 2: 12:15 PM – 3:45 PM
    Midday coverage overlap for smoother transition

  • Shift 3: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM
    Includes teardown support

Please arrive prior to your designated shift to allow time for check-in and setup instructions.

Summary:

Dallas Hope Charities will be sharing Hope (and goodies) for All at the annual Dallas Pride Festival! We’re looking for 6 Hope Ambassadors to help us create a welcoming, affirming space while engaging festival attendees with information about our services, mission, and how to get involved.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup and/or cleanup

• Distribute swag and materials

• Share DHC services and program information

• Take photos and create a welcoming environment

• Support other tasks as assigned by DHC staff

Requirements:

• Comfortable interacting with the public

• Able to stand or walk for extended periods

• Willing to work outdoors rain or shine

Dress Code:

• Blue DHC t-shirt (provided if you have not already received)

• Comfortable clothing

• Closed-toed shoes
  
  

Volunteer Groups: Group representatives may reserve multiple slots per shift. We strongly encourage individual registration for accurate time-tracking and communications.

Perks:

• Complimentary festival entry wristband (must be picked up by Friday, June 13)

• DHC volunteer service hours

• A joyful and meaningful Pride experience!

Parking:

• Estimated at $10 per vehicle and not reimbursed by DHC

• DART or rideshare encouraged

Log Hours: You will be asked to check in and out using the Timeclock feature HERE. You can use your username or personal QR code. When scanning, please open the Timeclock link in Safari before using your QR code.

Cancellations: If you’re unable to attend your shift, please contact your lead contact listed above as soon as possible.
