Time: Volunteer Check-In 6:15 PM, Shift 6:30 PM – 8:45 PM
Location: Union Coffee Lawn, 3705 Cedar Springs Rd, Dallas, TX 75219

Summary: Capture impactful, respectful images of our annual vigil honoring LGBTQIA+ lives lost to suicide and supporting those still with us. Your photos will be used in recap content, awareness materials, and future outreach efforts.

Requirements:

• Must bring personal photography equipment (preferably professional-grade).

• Phone photography is acceptable only if you have experience producing high-quality, professional images using mobile gear.

• Comfortable photographing in low-light, outdoor evening settings.

• Able to move discreetly during the event—no flash or disruptive gear.

• Must provide:

  • Edited gallery of event images

  • 3–5 highlights for social media

  • Deliverables due within 5 business days

Dress Code: All black clothing and closed-toed shoes

Parking: Free but limited parking is available in front of Union and in the Windsor parking garage’s bottom level. Carpooling or ride-share is encouraged.

Log Hours: Use our Timeclock HERE to check in and out. You may use your username or your personal QR code.

Cancelations: If you’re unable to attend your shift, please notify your lead contact as early as possible.

Volunteer Check-In / Out:

• Check-In: Arrive by 6:15 PM to check in and receive your instructions before the program begins.

• Shift Timeframe: 6:30 PM – 8:45 PM. This includes coverage of the full program (7:00–8:30 PM) and post-event transition.

• Check-Out: Please check out with your lead at the end of your shift. Volunteers are asked to exit the event area after their shift ends to reduce guest crowding.
