The Children's Museum (18+)
Purpose: In The Children’s Museum (TCM), our volunteers help children and families learn through play! Engage with guests of all ages with play work. Help guests explore and introduce animals and their adaptations, simple machines and physics, imaginative play, role play, work on gross motor skills in the woods and kids at work.
Background: Cincinnati Museum Center’s Museum Engagement department is the front-facing team across the Cincinnati History Museum, Museum of Natural History & Science, and The Children's Museum. The Museum Engagement team welcomes guests of every age, background and interest-level and creates meaningful experiences by engaging these guests in gallery-specific activities. Volunteers anticipate and meet guests at their point of need, answer wayfinding questions, interpret gallery spaces and present programs designed for our diverse audience.
