Background: Cincinnati Museum Center’s (CMC) Programming Development team oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of programming initiatives across the institution.
In late 2023, CMC opened the Cr(eat)e Culinary Studio featuring the Kroger Food Lab to provide a home for our programming that combines CMC’s work in science, history, and early childhood with cooking and food traditions. This space has allowed us to work with children, families, teens, adult and public audiences, including partnerships with guest chefs, nutritionists, community partners, doctors and nurses.
Our initial suite of Cr(eat)e programs includes Junior Chefs (Children and Caregivers, ages 7+), Homeschool Cooking Club (ages 7+), Adult programming, free teen cooking classes and a variety of pop-up/drop-in style events that are open to all ages.
