Welcome to Us Together! We are so excited that you are interested in getting involved with our organization. Volunteers are so important to the work we do and make a great difference in the lives of our refugee, asylee an immigrant clients.
Us Together was founded in 2003 by Nadia Kasvin and Tatyana Mindlina, who are both former refugees themselves. They officially began resettling refugees in 2005, and expanded to create two more satellite offices in Ohio. These are located in Cleveland (est. 2008) and Toledo (est. 2013).
Our organization offers comprehensive integration services. We focus on assisting our clients in four areas of integration; social, economic, civic and linguistic. By strengthening our clients comfort and ability in these areas we hope to help them reach self sufficiency, allowing them to have control over their own lives and operate independently. We aim to equip our clients with the skills to navigate U.S. systems that were previously unfamiliar to them. These include the job market, the public health system, social services, education systems and many others key to maintaining day to day life in the U.S.
Please keep an eye on our website for fun events and volunteer appreciation posts!
