Habitat for Humanity of Cambria County - Habitat Building and Warehouse Volunteers
Habitat for Humanity of Cambria County is looking for volunteers to do work on a house on Ogle St. in Ebensburg, and also at our warehouse in Johnstown behind the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen (close to Yankee Shoe Repair). The days at the house are Tuesdays and Saturdays any time between the hours of 8AM and 3PM. No experience is necessary as all volunteers are shown how to complete the jobs that are needed. These jobs include but are not limited to drywalling, painting, tiling, electrical work etc. We are in the final weeks at the Ogle St. house. The work at the warehouse is done on Thursdays from about 9AM – 12PM. We are going to be building shelves to store our material as well as building an office and a bathroom. Any amount of time by any volunteer is appreciated!
