Hospice Palliative Care Volunteer (Meal Service)
Within our hospice facility, our Hospice Palliative Care Volunteers provide on-going support to the patient and their loved ones/caregivers by providing a listening ear, sharing memories, playing cards, writing letters, or simply sitting quietly with the patient. Volunteers also assist with meal service with meal delivery, snack preparation and clean up.
Our volunteers also assist staff with special requests like organizing special events such as birthdays or anniversaries. Our hospice volunteers offer our patients and their loved ones much needed support during one the most difficult moments in life.
