Western Zone - Hospice & Palliative Care

Within the patient’s home setting, the Community Palliative Care Volunteer provides on-going support to the patient and their love ones/caregivers. Volunteers may assist with non-medical support such as providing a listening ear, sharing memories, playing cards, writing letters, preparing a snack, or taking a patient out for a stroll.  If you feel like you could contribute to another person and their love ones who are going through a difficult time in a positive and meaningful way, then this role may be for you.
