Rivers is a pregnant dam and will need to be sequestered from other dogs during the entire care period to ensure there is no infectious disease transmission to Rivers immediately before the puppies arrrive. If you have another dog in your home, there is a possibility we could make this work but we would need to discuss the specific details with you. It is absolutely critical that Rivers not have contact with visiting dogs in this period.

We may make alternate arrangements for Rivers for the entire month of July so there is a chance the shift will be canceled.

(Shift was originally 7/5-7/14, now 7/1-7/14 with second shift starting 7/14-7/29 for continuity of care during pregnancy)

Age: 21 months
Confinement: Pup must be crated when unsupervised except overnight
Housebreaking: Pup is reliably housebroken
Pick up: EENP office on Fri 07/05/2024 at afternoon (flexible)
Drop off: Arrange directly with Care Home (CH) 07/14/2024 at anytime (flexible)

Signing up for a puppy caregiver shift does not mean you have been assigned to it. You will receive a confirmation email when you are assigned a shift you have signed up for. If your household has other pet dogs, they will need to be assessed by EENP before signing up for caregiver shifts. Please let us know if this is the case.

If you are unable to sign up for this activity, you may need to get or update your Canine Care & Safety qualification.  Please get in touch so we can get you the information you need to review.
