Thank you for your interest in becoming a Building Parks Together Ambassador.
The City of Kitchener is looking for ways to improve water quality, reduce flood risks and improve your park experience by adding new features to parks, including stormwater measures. One of the ways we will be doing this is going directly to community members in our parks and asking them what they value/like and how they would like to improve their neighbourhood parks. As a Building Parks Together Ambassador you play an important role working with staff to engage residents.
This is a varied role, and you could do one, or more of the following activities:
You will be notified as opportunities arise and will have the option to participate based on your interests and availability. You can help out as much or as little as they want, however, to remain an active volunteer you must volunteer for at least one shift between March and November.
Age Criteria: 14 years or older
Time Commitment
This is a flexible role to suit your availability, however you must volunteer a minimum 1 time between March and November. You will be notified as opportunities arise and will have the option to participate based on your interests and availability
