Volunteers: Let’s Get Started
Welcome to Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT) volunteer management system hosted by Better Impact! As part of our ongoing commitment to student and school safety and Speakers Bureau program integrity, Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT) requires all individuals who participate in the MBRT Speakers Bureau volunteer program to undergo a background check. Please see details below and select the link on the right that applies to your volunteer status to create and/or log-in to your volunteer account.
- Background Check Policy for Speakers Bureau Volunteers,
- The MBRT will cover the background check fee as an element of our complimentary volunteer training.
- The MBRT reserves the exclusive right to determine volunteer eligibility.
- By creating an account and/or signing up to participate in any Speakers Bureau program, event, or activity, volunteers acknowledge and agree to the background check requirement and understand that the MBRT’s decision regarding participation eligibility is final.
- The MBRT will be sharing your name and email address with COEUS Global.
- Please be on the lookout for an email from support@coeusglobal.com (check spam folder) and complete the online form allowing a minimum of three to five business days ahead of the scheduled volunteer activity.
If any questions arise regarding the background check, please reach out to Chris Thorn, MBRT's Chief Information and Operations Officer – info@mbrt.org.
