Data and Assessment
The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center conducts assessments of the health of the residents we serve. Some programs and initiatives that exists around topics such as:
- Monitoring of health status
- Collection, analysis and dissemination of data
- Use of data to inform public health policies, processes and interventions
- Participation in a process for the development of a shared, comprehensive assessment of the community
As a Medical Reserve Corps member, there are numerous potential topics which medical or non-medical volunteers could provide a valuable resource in educating the community on important health issues. Members could be involved providing information at a festival or fair or could be involved in a specific public health initiative or activity.
