Water Goat

Do you have what it takes to be a part of our Water Goat Herd? Are you ready to GOAT (Get Out All Trash)?  In that case, sign up!

The Water Goat is a litter catching device that was installed in Dye Branch creek in spring of 2023.  The Goat will be cleaned out once a month by a small group of volunteers.  Volunteers will remove any trash caught in our Water Goat, bag it and fill out a short report form, to let us know how much trash was collected.

Volunteers need to be at least 16 years old and all volunteers must attend a brief orientation and safety meeting prior to volunteering.  Volunteers who join the Goat Herd need to know: you may get wet! This volunteer role involves hiking, bending, hauling and splashing!

Come join our GOAT herd!
