Welcome, SFAS Volunteers!

Are you interested in working with one of our most vulnerable groups of animals? Our Scaredy Cat program teaches volunteers the skills they need to socialize kittens that are still quite young, but have already begun to take on the behaviors of feral cats. Kittens between eight weeks and 16 weeks need a special style of handling to help them to adjust to life in human homes, and with your help, we can improve the odds that they succeed in a pet home.
