Community Outreach - TNR Trapper
—Responsibilities include one on one training with Volunteer TNR Program Coordinator.
—Obtaining trap/traps for specific trapping areas from Coordinator after obtaining permission from residential and commercial property owners.
—Following procedures set by Satellite Clinic in regards to communication, drop-off time, and pickup time.
—Recovering trapped cats after surgery in a quiet place overnight and releasing the next day, after making recovery observations, back to the area where they were trapped.
—Transporting, as needed, potential adoptable spayed/neutered kittens from 2 to 5 months to ARC.
—Transporting as needed, weaned kittens under 2 months old, not yet spayed or neutered, to ARC.
—Making serious attempts to find mother separated from kitten litters, not yet weaned.
