Enrichment - K-9 Walker/Socializer Training
Learn the basics of shelter dog walking and socializing. This class is fantastic for all ages and skill levels. We'll go over canine body language, how to deal with jumpy dogs and leashing skills. We'll introduce you to our dog trails, play yards and dog parks. We'll cover the flow of the shelter and how to navigate the White Board -- our system of keeping track of what dogs did what and when. Finally, we'll introduce you to a whole host of furry new friends just waiting to meet you and fall in love!
