Community Outreach - Rich's Gift Canine Good Citizen Training Spring/Summer 2026
Made possible by the estate of Rich Arimoto and the efforts of our volunteer-led Pet Outreach program. SFAS' own Barbara Leighnor is the facilitator.
Eight Thursdays starting this Spring 2026 (exact dates TBD), plus two weeks of testing. (Rich's trusted therapy dog, Ffion, will be a special guest.)
Registration is $75, refundable for new pet therapy dog-and-human teams who go on to serve with the Santa Fe Animal Shelter's Pet Outreach program.
Prerequisite: ability to reliably cue "sit" and "down"
