Community Outreach - Rich's Gift Canine Good Citizen Training May 2026
Made possible by the estate of Rich Arimoto and the efforts of our volunteer-led Pet Outreach program. SFAS' own Barbara Leighnor is the facilitator.
Eight Thursdays starting May 21, 2026, plus two weeks of testing. (Rich's trusted therapy dog, Ffion, will be a special guest.)
Registration is $75, refundable for new pet therapy dog-and-human teams who go on to serve with the Santa Fe Animal Shelter's Pet Outreach program.
Prerequisite: ability to reliably cue "sit" and "down"
