Help to deliver interesting and effective SAMRU programs. This may include ongoing programs delivering World Trivia on Main Street, attending NSO, and helping host workshops like Crafternoon in one of SAMRU’s many spaces. This work will likely involve working in small groups, helping to setup/tear-down, and working to create safe space during program delivery. You will sign up on a program-by-program basis, and be contacted by supervisors to offer you opportunities to be involved throughout the year.
Time Commitment (Variable, scheduled) - Generally 2-4 hour shifts per semester, with both daytime and evening shifts available. There is no minimum or maximum number of hours expected.
Training Required – Intro to anti-oppression, Events 101, Working with Students with Disabilities, Conflict Management, SAMRU Orientation (sessions take place during one day)
