Title: RICH Youth Support Intern/Volunteer
Department: Refugee & Immigrant Center for Healing (RICH)
Reports to: Supervision with Director of RICH, reports to RICH staff (task supervisors)
Time Involvement: Three Months Minimum (Six Months Preferred); 16 hours per week
Summary: This individual may assist our RICH staff with skills-based group planning and participation for high school and elementary school-aged youth, case management assistance for youth and their families, community outreach and engagement, assistance with program administrative tasks.
Special Requirements:
-Possession of clean New York State driver’s license and access to vehicle (if driving clients)
- Successful Completion of Sterling Volunteers Background Check, at the cost of $9
- Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
- Record of Covid-19 vaccination
- Complete Staff Exclusion List Search

Qualifications:
- Good Writing Skills
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates compassion for refugees, patience, and the ability to operate from a mindset of cultural humility.
- Multilingual is a plus!

- Background Check Must be Clear
