RICH (Refugee & Immigrant Center for Healing) - RICH Case Assistance Intern/Volunteer
Title: RICH Youth Support Intern/Volunteer
Department: Refugee & Immigrant Center for Healing (RICH)
Reports to: Supervision with Director of RICH, reports to RICH staff (task supervisors)
Time Involvement: Three Months Minimum (Six Months Preferred); 16 hours per week
Summary: This individual may assist our RICH staff with case work assistance that may include employment services, case files reviews, bus orientation, housing support, new client intake calls, client surveys, helping clients make medical appointments, assembling resources in different languages, and other non-specialized case management needs.
Special Requirements:
-Possession of clean New York State driver’s license and access to vehicle (if driving clients)
-Successful Completion of Sterling Volunteers Background Check, at the cost of $9

Qualifications:
- Good Writing Skills
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates compassion for refugees, patience, and the ability to operate from a mindset of cultural humility.
- Multilingual is a plus!

- Background Check Must be Clear
