The Milang & District Community Association Inc. strives to further the interests and well-being of the community of Milang and its surrounding districts by:
- Using appropriate methods to ascertain the issues which are important for local residents as well as providing a forum by which these issues may be raised and explored by members of the community;
- Providing a community organisation which will develop resources and provide opportunities for members of the community to participate in responding to these issues, irrespective of age, gender, race, religion, disability or economic status;
- Maintaining and extending the existing programs of the Milang Old School House Community Centre which have been established in response to perceived community needs;
- Managing the facilities of the Milang Institute Hall and other property owned or leased by the association for use by the association in its activities as well as by other local community organisations and individuals;
- Establishing partnerships with other groups in the community whose objects are similar to those of the association.
