General Interests

Activity Group Leader or Assistant

Lead or help lead an activity, teach a skill or help with setup, cleanup and refreshments at a seniors activity group.

Bingo

Assist with running a bingo program. Training will be provided.

Bus Driver

Drive a 20 or 25 passenger bus for seniors day trips. Class 4 license, Driver’s Abstract and background check will be required.

Bus Hostess

Assist bus driver on seniors day trips. Background check will be required.

Computer Help

Help seniors learn how to use their computers and electronic devices

Craft

Make hand-made crafts for sale at the seniors centre.

Food Service

Prepare and serve meals, snacks or coffee to members at the seniors centre.

Health Program

Retired health care professionals help with weight/height/blood pressure measurement. Others help with check-in and hosting weekly health program for seniors.

Newsletter

Work with others to publish a newsletter of seniors activities and events for the seniors centre.

Special Events

Help plan celebrations and special events for members at the seniors centre.

Website

Help design/maintain a website for seniors at the centre
